Two locations in Amstelveen

We are proud of our two convenient locations in Amstelveen, where we provide a warm and welcoming place for your child(ren).

Location Sportlaan

The Sportlaan location is situated at the NFC football complex and accommodates up to 38 children per day. This location is suitable for children aged 4 and up, until they finish primary school. In addition to two cosy, homelike group rooms, KindZijn also has access to a spacious outdoor area. Surrounded by greenery and sports fields, it’s the perfect place for children to play outdoors endlessly.

Locatie Benderslaan

The Benderslaan location is connected to primary school Het Palet Zuid.
Here, we have a cheerful classroom at our disposal, surrounded by small parks and playgrounds.

KindZijn accommodates up to 20 children at this location, aged 4 to 7 years.
After that, they can move on to the Sportlaan location.

Our pedagogical policy

At KindZijn, our pedagogical approach is based on creating a safe and emotionally secure foundation from which children can explore their environment and grow.

Key elements include:

Establishing social-emotional safety. Our friendly and motivated pedagogical staff build trusting relationships with children by listening to their emotions, needs, and interests, and by fostering a positive group atmosphere.

A smooth intake and acclimation process for new children. We conduct an intake meeting with children and parents, and use transitional/warm-up days to help children feel comfortable in the new environment.

The transfer of norms & values. We encourage children to contribute to a respectful and inclusive group climate, help them learn to understand their emotions and behaviour, and support their individual developmental needs.
